926 Chemical Degreaser / Etch

926-000 Chemical Degreaser Etch is a concentrated heavy duty degreasing and phosphating solution developed for the removal of grease, fats and oils and to etch concrete and ferrous metal surfaces. 926-000 Chemical Degreaser Etch contains phosphoric acid which can be used on concrete surfaces to dissolve cement laitance prior to the application of paint. On ferrous metal surfaces the phosphoric acid will remove superficial rust and phosphate the surface giving it short term resistance to flash rusting prior to the application of a primer. 926-000 Chemical Degreaser Etch can also be used to clean and etch concrete to reduce slipperyness and provide a rough surface profile.

• Ideal pretreatment for concrete and ferrous metal surfaces prior to painting.
• Made in NZ for NZ conditions.

Apply by broom or brush evenly to the surface, on stubborn areas an abrasive pad may be necessary.
